"Two all beef patties" with Tom Feltenstein: Our Conversation about the iLearning Global opportunity

June 08, 2009 0 comments

by Steve Campbell

Recently a group of us met with Tom Feltenstein for lunch across from his office in West Palm Beach Fl. Tom has been the brilliant mind behind McDonalds marketing for years.

The Happy Meal, that was Tom. Yep he’s the guy that you give all the credit to for your kids pleading from the back seat “Mom Dad I want to go to McDonalds” and after 20 minutes of this relentless pursuit to "get it their way" as they were Jonesing for the cheeseburger and that special surprise inside, you finally give in and whip into the first McDonalds you can find. Breakfast, yep once again Tom. You remember the jingle “two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese” well you know the rest. Yep, once again Tom. Tom was instrumental in starting the 1st Ronald McDonald House with Ray Croc in Philidelphia PA. and now there are over 300.

As you can imagine, we were very excited about this meeting. We spent the two hours glued to our chairs hanging onto every word as our hard drive processors were in over drive attempting to discern Tom’s straight-forward, no-nonsense head on brutal honesty about the current state of our businesses. With this brutal truth and child-like assault, he actually had a few us squirming in our seats.

We had met Tom just days earlier in West Palm at an event with Brian Tracy that was sponsored by ilearningglobal.tv. Tom was there speaking along with his good friend Paul Martinelli, one of our mentors and business partners. With all of the other speakers that we saw at this event, Tom was kind enough to spend extra time at the event to talk with all of us that wanted to stay. Jeanny had asked to do a quick video interview with him, but he had more questions than she did. So, in return, he invited our entire Master Mind Group present at the event to come over to West Palm and meet personally with him. We were not going to pass this one up!

As we sat with him finishing our lunch, I asked him if he was going to be a faculty member on iLearning Global. He said yes, in fact, he had just returned from California coming from ILG’s studio and had just finished recording. He shared with us that the top guys from ILG had just flown in to see him. I was now becoming so excited I could hardly stand it, knowing that we all were going to get access to him with the rest of the top 100 speakers in the country through the ILG portal. Yep, 24-7 we can get all of Tom’s brilliant inside information that people have been paying thousands of dollars for right on the screen of our computer in better than high definition (HD) video ...a non-buffering full-streaming proprietary technology.

As I attempted to keep myself from going to the chandelier from the excitement of now knowing he was an ILG faculty member along with Brian Tracy, Paul Martinelli, Bill Bartmann, John Gray, Stephen Covey, Mark Victor Hansen, T. Harv Eker and many others, I asked what he thought of the opportunity of iLearning Global. He said he has never seen anything like it. He said there has never been anything ever created for individuals, entrepreneurs and small business owners like this where they can go to one location (the screen of their computer) and access a library of the top minds and experts in the country and throughout the world.

He then shared with us that he himself became a Master Mind Marketer so he can open up the distribution for this company. He laid out for us the 3 quadrants of where his income came from on a yearly basis and said he is now putting together a strategic plan for ILG to become a major part of his reproductive residual income in the coming year.

I now knew that there was no doubt that the decision Jeanny and I made just a few months earlier to join the largest Master Mind with the top minds in the country may have been the smartest decision of our entire journey in this life.

Now I was asking myself why this guy sitting next to me along with his good friend Paul Martinelli, Bill Bartman a billionaire, Brian Tracy and the rest of these faculty members are involved in this at a marketer’s level. I concluded that these are really smart guys and they understand what they have with this company and the opportunity to make a tremendous amount of money through leverage in addition to changing millions of lives from the continual learning that people will experience from being connected to the iLearning Global portal.

Simply stated, they get the big picture, and I am here to tell you it is a big picture. They understand the distribution network needs to be put in place in a big way to take this to the masses, and it will be done person-to-person with 60% of the profits given back to the people that set up the referral networks.

I guess this will be one of those stories of many of the very wealthy well–to-do smart people again being in the right place at the right time and capitalizing on once again another million dollar idea. Hard to believe they paid $20 just like we did to become a Master Mind Marketer for iLearning Global so they can receive Residual Reoccurring Income (RRI) from everyone that was referred to the company.

All I can say is “What a Country!”

If you want to see the vault of the most valued education from the top minds in the country go to www.ilearningglobal.biz/campbellgroup

Be a part of the largest Master Mind Group in the world and increase your value through continuous learning and increase your income with Residual Reoccurring Income (RRI) that will change your life.

Ironman Heidi Crutchfield - Iron "Mind"

May 25, 2009 0 comments

For years, I’ve believed that if we want to excel at anything, we need to do two things: 1) Get involved in a Master Mind and 2) hire a coach.

So a few years ago I made the decision to get in really good shape, to be stronger than I’ve ever been, and to tone my body. To achieve this I hired Heidi Crutchfield as my personal trainer.

Heidi has participated in many Triathlons, Marathons, half-Ironman and Ironman competitions. And as my mentor in real estate used to say, she’s “stronger than 90 day old garlic.” Not only is she physically strong, Heidi is mentally strong; which is the reason I wanted to interview and blog about her.

In a Triathlon you swim, bike and run. There are different distances, the one in Sebring, Florida; Heartland Triathlon on July 25th & 26th, is .25 miles swim, 3.1 run, 14 miles bike. I’m excited to say that this is my first triathlon on a relay team with Steve and his daughter Megan. So come on down and cheer us on, or maybe you’ll even want to participate.

A Marathon is a 26.2 mile run.

A ½ Ironman is 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run.

An Ironman is 2.4 miles swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run.

Can you imagine?!!! I’m excited that I can run 2 miles, I couldn’t say that a few months ago.

I look forward to my training, and while I’m there, I can’t say that it feels that great. Sometimes I ask myself “what was I thinking?” “Do I really want to do this?” “I can just watch what I eat, and walk a little or ride my bike and I’ll be just fine.” If you have thought about exercising, or began an exercise program, you know what I am talking about. This is normal; we question ourselves when things get a little tough. The kicker is how you respond to those questions. Notice I said “respond” and not “react.”

In business, we often ask the same questions.

Not only do I love the fact that as a result of training with Heidi, I am stronger than ever, but I am actually doing something that it is easy not to do. I look for opportunities during my days to practice what we teach and coach. And this is one of them.

With Heidi as my coach, I can do things I never thought possible. There’s NO WAY I would do this on my own. She encourages me (she MAKES ME) do more reps, lift a little more, work out so hard that sometimes I can barely lift my arm or lift my leg.

It’s been intriguing for me to learn how one goes from deciding to start to exercise, to eventually end up in an Ironman competition – over 140 miles total, on the SAME day. So, while I’m training with Heidi, I am asking her questions about that mind set, and she tries to get me to focus on my exercise (she doesn’t “try” – she makes sure I do the exercise).

So, how do you go from earning what you are currently earning to doubling that amount, to selling more than you sell, to setting and reaching your goals? As you listen to Heidi, she will share some of the same principles that you need to apply with your own personal goals. That is if you have a goal to begin with.

Listen to what Heidi has to say about decision making, setting goals, focus, visualization, coaching, competition, having a plan, being prepared, and blessings and adventures.

What I’ve learned from Heidi is that the mind set she has for running a marathon, or competing in an Ironman competition, is the same mind set we should have for doing ANYTHING we set out to do.

In this interview, Heidi talks about reading an article from Andy Potts, where he talks about focusing on the small details. She is always learning from others how she can improve what she is doing. Heidi also has a personal coach, Jeff Cuddeback.

If you are in Highlands County, and would be interested in talking to Heidi, she can currently be reached at The Fitness Factory.

Wheel Chairs for the World!

May 10, 2009 0 comments

Last year I went on Bob Proctor's cruise, and met Geoff Bone from the U.K. Geoff has been confined to a wheelchair since a near fatal accident in 1972 when he slipped and fell under a train. Because of a wheelchair, he is able to live independently.

There are some 130 million disabled people in the world who are in need of wheelchairs, but cannot afford it. While I was in Jamaica I observed a number of men who didn't have legs and they were on wooden boards with wheels, or were using a broom stick for a leg.

Geoff Bone's vision is to give each of these people a wheelchair, so that they can enjoy the same mobility and freedom given to him. Each wheelchair costs just $100 and the website gives full details.

Join us to share his vision. If you wish to contribute with a gift of ANY amount, you can do so by visiting the website: www.wheelchairsfortheworld.org.uk

I spoke with Bob Proctor's attorney (Mark Myarderk) to make sure that this was a legitimate organization and that contributions were appropriately placed and he assured me that they were.

Sowing and reaping is a law, like the law of gravity. The law of gravity always works the same way for everyone. So does the law of sowing and reaping. It's a fixed principle that God built into his creation. In Galatians 6:7, we are told, "Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Like my pastor always says: "If you want to be Blessed - BE A BLESSING!"
